LaDainian Tomlinson is 5'10", 221 lbs. and graduated from TCU. So I'm within an inch and 20 pounds of possibly being the all-time single season scoring leader of the NFL. I feel like if I met him it would be like looking in a mirror.
LT has been tearing it up for the Chargers all year long. More than simply evoking comparisons to the current top running backs, he's now frequently compared to the best in the history of the game.
He also has the single season touchdown record (31) with two games to go.
His 28 rushing touchdowns are the most ever in a season. He also has three touchdown catches and those numbers don't include the two touchdown passes he's thrown!
This was his eighth multi-touchdown game in a row, which breaks John Riggins record.
Amazing.
