I don't have any resolutions for 2006. Maybe just seeing my family more. That would be great. Also, I'd like to see Ben Folds live again. I have four tickets for his Radio City show sitting in my basement unused because I was fighting with servers and couldn't break away for a night in the city a few weeks back. I missed two flights recently for the same reasons and ended up traveling the next day each time. That's never good, but it's under control now.

Maybe listening to more new music. Yahoo's Music Engine helps with that. I've stumbled upon some artists that I had heard of but never listened to (like Pete Yorn, Switchfoot, Al Jarreau, The Prodigy, George Benson and Kelly Clarkson) and a bunch that I had never heard of but hear all the time now (Sister 7, Aly and AJ, The Trash Can Sinatras, Default and Jem). Plus I can always go hunt something down and hear it immediately when the mood strikes me, like the Cheers theme by Gary Portnoy (which deserves its own post some day), the Spider-Man theme by Michael Bublé and albums from Lazytown, Blue's Clues and the Backyardigans for Jack to listen to.

It has been a long time since I've blogged. This post editing form looks a little foreign. Maybe I'll blog more in 2006. Maybe not.

HD Beat's New Year's resolution is 1080x1920.
