Firefox scrolling problem solved

January 29, 2006 @ 9:19pm

Bryce, the NT Wizard, had it right. It wasn't our switch from older HTML templates and CSS to new ones that was causing pages to forget where they had been scrolled to. It was a set of cache headers that PHP was injecting when we'd do a session_start().

We are overriding them and now when you page back and forth or reload a page in Firefox, the page remains scrolled to where you were when you left it. Mike can stop worrying that it was his CSS -- until the next time we find a problem that could potentially be layout-related and I immediately point the finger at him because it just feels so right.
