It's a happy coincidence that the first NBA Finals I watch in HD is the first one HDNet owner Mark Cuban goes to with his Mavericks. High definition makes the giant Dallas leads seem bigger, more crisp. Maybe it's because they're playing in Texas.

After only six four-point plays in the history of the Finals, Dallas had two last night. When you're jacking up fours all night and protecting your 20-something point lead, you're going to be tough to beat.
Even the AP said, "if you watched the sport for the first time Sunday, you would have thought the best center on the floor was Dallas' Erick Dampier."

I missed the first game doing some work on a new giant blog that's living in our platform and I heard all the superstars had jitters and it was painful to watch. I'm glad I didn't miss this one.
