Where's the beef?

Just in time for July 4, it's burger news. I found this first story on Netscape a few days ago. There's a restaurant in Boca Raton that's selling a $100 hamburger. It's made with three different kinds of beef from three continents. Weird. I thought Boca burgers were vegetarian.

Over on Slashfood I saw another burger story. This one is frightening. The Gateway Grizzlies -- I believe that's a sumo wrestling team in San Francisco -- are selling a cheeseburger with two strips of bacon on a glazed Krispy Kreme doughnut. They cut the doughnut into two slices, flip them over so the glaze is on the inside and it has nearly 45 grams of fat and 1000 calories.

It's called Baseball's Best Burger. Okay. I get it now. They're a baseball team. My mistake. It's still gross.
