Not safe for work

Feed2JS is a simple service that goes and fetches an RSS feed and turns it into a JavaScript format that anyone of any skill level can plug into his or her site.

When I first saw a post about AOL using Feed2JS, I hoped that they were using a local hosted copy of the script and not one of the service's mirror sites. I also hoped that they were caching the results for at least a few minutes. No such luck.

Fortunately Feed2JS adds 60 minutes of caching, so the server they're pulling from isn't getting totally killed.

Please don't let me find out that Blogsmith is using Feed2JS in live blogs...
