Going down?

November 13, 2006 @ 11:07pm

I saw a couple of episodes of Two and a Half Men over the weekend, so I don't know how old they were. There was an episode where Charlie Sheen's character Charlie was in bed with a bossy woman who sells real estate and she gives him some advice. "You can push an elevator button 200 times, but it's not going to come any faster."

How do they get away with this stuff on TV? I blame Fox.

Imagine if Three's Company had been allowed to have dialog like that. Instead their writers had to be more subtle, more clever, more sophisticated. Yeah, more sophisticated. That's how I'd describe them. Ah, those were the days.
