Gavin IMed me a link the other day to Kevin Barnes' blog where he posted a follow up to his own article on rewriting software. Kevin mentioned a stat from some IBM research that the average developer does about 10 lines of functional code a day and his friend Eric was boasting that he could do more like 1000 lines a day.
I joked to Gavin that I could handle a maximum of about ten lines a day and then I said, "Wait, he said code? Okay, that makes way more sense now!" Of course we both giggled, one of us like Penn from Penn and Teller and the other like a schoolgirl.
Anyway, that brings me to my point, and I do have one.
Oh wait, I forgot it.
Nevermind.
