One of my favorite Far Side comic strips is the one where two gorillas are sitting in a tree eating bananas and one of them tells the other "I know that all of us love bananas, but I really, really love bananas." I can't find that on the web anywhere, so it must not be anyone else's favorite.
Strangely, when I do Google image searches on terms like "far side gorillas really love bananas" I get a bunch of Far Side comics along with photos of Russell Crowe and Rodney Dangerfield.

gary larson and team are actually quite harsh on enforcing their copyright, and i've stumbled upon a bunch of takedown notices when looking for a cartoon myself. i don't imagine it's working out for them, but that could explain the difficulty of finding the banana-loving gorilla cartoon (which is very funny, yes).

One of my favorite cartoons of all time, I had cut it out and pasted it on to a wall, where it remained for years, and it made me laugh each time I look at it. More profound than you think. (In fact, I was searching for the original, and found this post.)
My second favorite is the George Takeo one "St. Patrick driving the snakes out of Ireland." You can find that on Facebook.
