One of my favorite Far Side comic strips is the one where two gorillas are sitting in a tree eating bananas and one of them tells the other "I know that all of us love bananas, but I really, really love bananas." I can't find that on the web anywhere, so it must not be anyone else's favorite.
Strangely, when I do Google image searches on terms like "far side gorillas really love bananas" I get a bunch of Far Side comics along with photos of Russell Crowe and Rodney Dangerfield.

gary larson and team are actually quite harsh on enforcing their copyright, and i've stumbled upon a bunch of takedown notices when looking for a cartoon myself. i don't imagine it's working out for them, but that could explain the difficulty of finding the banana-loving gorilla cartoon (which is very funny, yes).

i have a book with that cartoon (a personal favorite)... it says:
"You know, Sid, I really like bananas... I mean, I now that's not profound or nothin'... Heck! We ALL do... But for me, I think it goes much more beyond that."
