I hate sandals and I only tolerate wearing shorts, so I'm happy to be home in New York wearing jeans and sneakers again.

On our Cape Cod trip, I realized that I would have made a really awful Old Testament Jew. I would have been walking around the desert complaining to everyone about my sandals -- looking for some leather to make sneakers with.

Niki pointed out that the Reef sandals I have are the most comfortable brand. I can't imagine how rough the trip would have been on a less comfortable pair.

The only Sandals I like are the resorts where you lay on the beach and drink.

Rainbows kick Reef's ass. In fact, Reef is rumored to have made several attempts at buying the rainbow brand, only to get shot down each time.
