I'm not sure if this was clear on twitter but for some reason I still have to scroll in "best fit" http://myskitch.com/eliot/comicmix-20071006-140906/

I like the writer, artist, etc. list beside each issue in the reader; I hope in the future they're linked so we can find more work by the same people.

Nice to see your comments on my comments! Ha! You guys are definitely raising the bar in the webcomics world, in all kinds of ways, and I'm really looking forward to watching Comic Mix grow and develop over time, along with the rest of the webcomics field. Congrats on the launch!

Eliot: There's a really good reason for that. We have a "fudge factor" in the reader. If your screen is within 10% of the next size up, we show you the larger size.

If we didn't have the fudge factor then your default page size would be the next size down. Most likely you're using Firefox, which has more toolbars and browser chrome than IE, Opera, Safari, etc.

My belief was that you'd prefer having that extra little scrolling over seeing all of the pages at a smaller size in the middle of the reader with a ton of wasted space around them.

I do have a fix for that, but it requires my CSS genius to free up a couple of hours.

One more thing that might help. We plan to move that top reader toolbar to a side panel. That might be the difference between a little extra scrolling for you and none at all. And I can drop the fudge factor from 10% to 5%.

    Thanks!
