Over Knights
Niki was going to UCF for her nursing degree when I met her more than a decade ago. Since then I have hired more people from that single school than any other -- and all into developer jobs.
It started with Gavin. He brought in Alex. We hired Trey into Netscape and added Celly to Blogsmith. Then Trey's old boss George joined Netscape. He's working on his PhD in Modelling and Simulation at UCF.
There must have been some magic in that old computer science program at UCF. Either that or I just lucked out finding Gavin and he just hangs out with a bunch of talented people.
Anyway, the point I wanted to make is that a few years ago their football program wasn't so good. Now their team is actually formidable and it worries me. If current Comp Sci students get too wrapped up in going to games and if alumni like Alex are obsessed as well, who is going to build my websites? Who am I going to hire for my next great team?

it would seem you've had some success with Iowa State grads as well. and should have no such worries about the Cyclone football program:

Go Knights! Hmm, saw the new stadium from the sky last time I flew into Orlando. Looks pretty good from up there... but unless they have a concert I'm interested in, that may be the closest I get...
