Niki and I caught this show the other night. It was great! Christina Applegate is amazing. A couple of reviewers said she was the only good thing about the show, but I thought it was well-written and enjoyed it from start to finish and even laughed out loud a few times.
Applegate plays a woman who used to be really mean who comes out of an eight-day coma with amnesia. Now she's nice and people don't know what to make of her. She can remember things like how to drive, but not who her friends and family are or how she used to act. It seems like a premise that could hold my attention for a couple of seasons especially if the writing and acting stays at the same level as it did in the fantastic pilot.
It airs against Heroes, but since I am only on episode two of season one of Heroes right now and Samantha Who? is only a half hour I think I'm going to keep watching Christina Applegate's show. Blasphemy for a comic book fan, I know -- just keep telling yourself she's an American cousin of Dr. Who and your outrage will dissipate.

Christina has come a long way since Married With Children. I do have to admit I miss seeing her in those hot outfits. *nostalgia*

I'm not sure why I decided to set my DVR to record this show, but I'm so happy I did -- they can go a long way with flashbacks to "Bad Sam" and as Bad Sam she can definitely wear those 'hot outfits'
