Continuing the writer strike reruns of TBAW, July of 2004 was a light posting month. Quality, not quantity, right?
"They are candy-covered chocolates in constant danger of being eaten." was about how cartoon spokes-characters have special personality brand usage guidelines.
All-Star Game conspiracy theories had not only a great close-up photo of Mike Piazza being beaned by a Roger Clemens pitch, but a great conspiracy threory about that year's MLB all-star game. It also had this little joke:
[Niki] also knew that it was Century 21 that sponsored the Home Run Derby. I could have sworn I'd heard that this year's longball contest was sponsored by Balco.
Needles to say, I was always a sucker for steroid humor -- since long before Barry Bonds got indicted.
